Coming to your first Pittsburgh REIA meeting?


I get this question a lot, “what do I need to do to prepare for my first REIA meeting?”.


The answer is simple, all you need to attend a Pittsburgh Real Estate Investors Association (REIA) meeting is a good attitude and a desire to learn.   It might also be helpful if you bring a notebook and a pen because you will definitely want to take notes.   We tend to cover a variety of real estate investor and landlord topics at each meeting.

We do a lot of networking before and after each meeting, so you might want to bring a stack of business cards.

There are be a number of subject matter experts on hand as well as seasoned real estate investors.  You can also meet and interview Pittsburgh area real estate lawyers, Pittsburgh area accountants, and Pittsburgh area general contractors, as well as a host of other business contacts that can help you grow your real estate business.

The dress code is casual, we don’t care what you wear.  We care about your desire to learn and prosper through real estate.  There are a number of ways that you can make money in real estate and we cover them all.  We don’t care if you want to flip Pittsburgh houses, be a South Side landlord, buy notes from PNC bank, own a commercial multi-family property in Mt Washington, or flip option contracts in Butler County, we can help you.

The time is always the same.  We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, with networking and pizza starting at 6:00 PM and the main meeting going from 7:00 PM until 9:00 ish PM.  Sometimes with an exciting topic, we do go a bit long, but since we don’t take attendance, members can come and go as they please.
