Housing Alliance wants to know how COVID-19 is impacting Landlords

The Housing Alliance seeks information from landlords on the impact they are experiencing from COVID-19. Please use this 5 minute survey to share with us your challenges as well as the steps that you have taken or will be taking to work with tenants to address difficulty in paying rent.

We at the Housing Alliance agree with the actions taken by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to extend the moratorium on evictions as part of the statewide judicial emergency to April 30th. However, we also know that the moratorium on evictions is not a permanent solution and will not address the longer-term impacts on both tenants and landlords. Rent is still due to the landlord and tenants who are unable to pay will still owe any missed or partial payments. In addition, if tenants are unable to pay, it will make it difficult for landlords to meet their own financial and operational obligations, which is why we believe it is vital to hear what landlords need to keep their business running during these uncertain times.

Thank you in advance for your feedback. We look forward to partnering with you to address the challenges of these unprecedented and difficult times.
